Why I decided to write about and share my trauma experience

Choosing to write about and share my trauma experience was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. For years, I kept my pain hidden behind silence, fear, and survival. I became used to carrying the weight of my experiences quietly, believing that speaking about them would only reopen wounds or invite judgment. But over time, I realized that silence was no longer protecting me — it was preventing me from healing.

How I was able to forgive
